We specialize in Natural Horsemanship - Young Horse Development. What does that Mean? We are conscious of the connection that we are developing in a young horse, they learn very quickly how soft the feel & timing is. They develop rapidly, responding willingly to our authentic way.
Jordan has completed his Stage 5 Horseman; which means he has a deep understanding of how to connect with a horse that is soft and fluid yet holds boundaries where the horse understands what is expected of it as a partner. Where responsibility and respect is created. Candice is having fun taking the older horses out & exposing them to competition; proving that our horses are versatile, sane & money earners. The kids, love to come out and ride which ever horse catches their attention...Right from the start, Hunter (our youngest - he's 7) fell in love with Rory (stage 5 horse), and now Rory holds the Bar of what we expect our horses to be like. He has never once took a step out of line with his little cowboys on his back...This speaks volumes! knowing we can trust our young horses to be caretakers of our boys. The horses should be making happy memories, not be a chore to be around.
They should bring sheer happiness, freedom & a sense of relief, as well as confidence in his person.
We call this Balanced.
What does balanced look like?
Emotionally * Mentally * Heart/Spiritually * Physically Fit
“Horsemanship is the art of mastering our own movements, thoughts, emotions and behavior. Not the horses.”
